Chris started writing in the 1980s, when, while doing consultancy work for various oil companies, he found himself reading books from airport bookshops, but wasn’t impressed. So he tried his hand at writing the sort of thriller he wanted to read, based on experiences in Madagascar and Lebanon, which produced Heart of Stone and Rock of Refuge. After that, he went on to write a very well-received science fiction/fantasy trilogy, The Lamb Among the Stars series. He has also written works of popular theology with the evangelist J John.
